In Chinese, the symbol for "home" is the symbols for pig under a roof.  Okay, technically it should be "a roof over a pig" as in Chinese you write top to bottom, and then left to right, but I thought the way I named the blog was catchier.

The symbol for home is also the foot of the word family, and upon launching this blog, two main components of family (my mom has a cancer and my husband and have been trying forever and then some to expand our family) are major themes of my life.   This online home will reflect what is important in my home.
